4 bell peppers 1 TB extra virgin olive oil 1/2 cup diced yellow onion 3 garlic cloves minced 1 lb ground beef

15-ounce can tomato sauce 1 TB Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp dried basil 1 cup cooked rice 3/4 cup shredded monterey Jack cheese or cheddar cheese

STEP 1
Cut the bell peppers in half.
Preheat the oven to 350F.

In a hot skillet, saute the onion and garlic until softened and translucent.
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until brown.

While the beef cooks, add the tomato sauce and all the seasonings to a bowl. Mix well to combine.

Stir the sauce and cooked rice into the ground beef.
