Hydrogen Peroxide
From childhood, I clearly remember my dad applying a bubbly substance called hydrogen peroxide to my dirty ouchies. Little did I know then that I’d grow up to love cleaning with this household ingredient. Today, I keep hydrogen peroxide in my home for its disinfecting and whitening properties. Use hydrogen peroxide as a bleach alternative to whiten clothes and polish sinks and tubs. As a disinfectant, use hydrogen peroxide on cutting boards and in the toilet bowl.
